My background is in social science research; organizational strategy, planning, communications, and marketing.
For more than six years I worked as a researcher and administrator at the Brookings Institution, a public policy think tank located in Washington DC. I was a research analyst for the first five issues of the Brown Center Report on American Education (2000-2004). I also served as the administrator for the National Working Commission on Choice in K-12 Education.
In the summer of 2004, I began researching web-based organizations and their activities.
Today I live and work in Indianapolis. I was raised in Pittsburgh, and my roots have been in Western PA. This project is dedicated to Christy, my family, and my friends.. all of whom have taught me the importance of community and teamwork.
I'm a huge Steelers fan :)
